Burnout Recovery for the Healthcare Professional

Clinical hypnotherapy works by helping clients access the subconscious mind, where many emotional patterns, habits, and beliefs are stored. By working at this deeper level, hypnotherapy can support meaningful and lasting change in many areas of life.

In addition, Lorraine offers a specialized burnout recovery program for healthcare professionals experiencing chronic stress, compassion fatigue, and emotional exhaustion from demanding careers in healthcare. Please contact her directly for more details.

Each session is tailored to the individual goals and needs of the client.

What to Expect in a Session

Hypnotherapy is a safe, collaborative process designed to help you access the deeper resources of your mind.

During a session, Lorraine will first discuss your goals and the changes you would like to create. This allows each session to be personalized to your specific needs.

You will then be guided into a relaxed and focused state of awareness known as hypnosis. This state is natural and similar to the deep focus you may experience while reading a book or becoming absorbed in a task.

While in this relaxed state, positive suggestions and therapeutic techniques are used to help shift limiting patterns and support the changes you want to create.

You remain aware and in control throughout the process. Most clients describe the experience as deeply relaxing and empowering.

Why Hypnotherapy Works

Many of our behaviors, habits, and emotional responses are influenced by subconscious patterns developed over time.

Traditional approaches often rely on willpower alone. Hypnotherapy works differently by helping access the subconscious mind, where these patterns are stored.

By working at this deeper level, hypnotherapy can help:

  • Release stress responses
  • Reframe limiting beliefs
  • Support healthier habits
  • Improve emotional resilience
  • Create lasting behavioral change

Every person already has the inner resources needed for change. Hypnotherapy simply helps you access them.

Rather than forcing change through effort alone, hypnotherapy helps the mind adopt new patterns in a natural and supportive way.
